Khayalo mein khoye hai khayal bhi 
zubaan mein ab nahi zubaan bachi 
tere ishq mein doobe hue hai is kadar
ki chaandni ki shabaab bhi karti nahi asar

baithe hue hi khidki ke kiwad pe 
soch rahe hai kaisi hoti apni zindagi 
agar jhagadte na hum aur hoti na shuruaat
reh jaate hum akele aur bikhar jaate sapne hazar

door rehna tujhse hume nahi gawara
khuda ki rehmo karam se humne tujhko paya
tod ke sapne tu kahi kho na jaana 
tujhse hai hamari zindagi aur humne hai yeh maana

marke bhi teri yaad mein jiyenge
teri baaton ki aahosh mein khud ko samente
teri chaht ki barish mein bahe failae
apna lenge us berehem maut ko bhi bina aansoo bahae

tadpe hai teri yaadon hum shaamo subah
yaad kar un hasi lamhho ko jisne bana dia hume tera gulam
khud ko bazm mein pakar teri
bhula dete hai akelepan ki dukhti khamoshi

agar thamti hai saanso ki dor toh tham jae
par ek dua kaboole voh khuda toh rehem ho jae

Buniyaad , the biggest blockbuster is back !

Buniyaad , a popular series on Doordarshan which dealt with 1947 partition is returning to the channel for its sixth airing on Thursday . Buniyaad is an Indian television drama , written by Manohar Shyam Joshi and directed by Ramesh Sippy and Jyoti Sarup . Its intimacy to the emotions of the people who had just witnessed the ripping apart of its mother country made the show unique and popular . Buniyaad dealt with 1947 partition and its aftermath . 

Also referred to as Sholey of television , the show which enthralled the audiences in 80's is going to relaunched on 26th July , 2013  giving the present generation a peek into the world , where neighbors became strangers and strangers acquired an intimate place in our lives . Buniyaad acted as a benchmark in the Indian television history . With no body to control its content , it dealt with enormous issues and emotions . With Western daily soaps taking over Indian drama , the revival of a mesmerizing show like Buniyaad will be able to recreate the magic and introduce the present generation to the misgivings of the past . 

The show depicts life of two struggling Punjabi families scourged by communal riots and economic problems . The plot was based on the life of people who struggled to live in the era of violence and aggression . The show gave Indian industry many great actors , one of them is Alok Nath who played the role of Master Havelinath , a patriotic man , who believed in the principles of teaching . Anita Kanwar plays Havelinath's love interest who later goes on to marry him . A loving family finds themselves in a fix when the communal riots break out and they have to flee back to India . 


Actor turned producer Deepti Bhatnagar recently bought the rights of the serial from Ramesh Sippy . The show was telecasted on Sahara one but went went off air after few weeks . She hinted that the show is going to go through some cosmetic changes and the tittle song , which was earlier sung by Anup Jalota will now be sung by Sonu Nigam . At a time when Hindi channels are filled with saas-bahu flicks or youth oriented reality shows , Buniyaad comes as a relief . It isn't just the older generation awaiting the reprisal of a show filled with passion and convictions , even the younger lot is eager to have a glimpse of the story which reflected the purity of the time our present is based on .

I still remember the day when i last saw you
the song i crooned in your memory
and played it over just to create a scene
of you and me reviving romeo and Juliet

i have acquired all your silly habits
of putting the pen's cap in my mouth
caring little about the people around
and blinking over things weird and astound

Now that i have lost hope in love
life around me has become more blissful and  covered
but something's still missing from life
the special feeling of being with someone is still desired

I miss the feeling of getting drenched with somebody in rain
of getting distressed when i do not hear from him
but alone that i am , i do not find myself lonely
for he is with me all the time , in my thoughts and my
deed

Has twitter replaced the Parliament ?

We all have witnessed politicians fighting , quarreling and  throwing shoes at each other in the parliament but the current scenario of social networking site becoming a cause of relief for the Lok Sabha Speaker seems quite shocking . With eminent leaders of political parties shooting tweets against each other , twitter has now become the new parliament . The only difference between the old and the new parliament is that the latter has greater transparency while the former shows transparency only when its esteemed members are caught watching porn movies and barging into each others personal territories .



The Congress and the BJP entered into a series of words after the latter demanded the dismissal of the Uttarakhand government for not handling the disaster properly . Information and Broadcasting Minister Manish Tiwari in his bid to save Congress tweeted "H'onble LOP's have mindspace to critique govt proposals on CBI autonomy that are yet to be placed before SC but no time to visit Uttrakhand." You can accuse me of dragging the tweet further but i am helpless . I am unaware of the abbreviation LOP's and that is why i have decided to give the abbreviation my own meaning - 'Lok Sabha Opponents' . It might sound odd but it fits the bill accurately . I really appreciate Manish Tewari's strike to avenge his party's ignominy but little did he realize that making such statements requires accurate knowledge about the subject. Poor Manish didn't bother to heed to my advice and thus suffered shame at the hands of BJP leader Sushma Swaraj . Sushma Swaraj hit back at Manesh Tiwari saying that it was Home Minsiter Sushil Kumar Shinde who had asked 'dignitaries' to stay away as it would hamper rescue operations. Going a step further she even acknowledged her contribution by saying that it was she who made Congress realize the "scale of tragedy". 



While every tweet managed to make an impact , the one by the new media cell appointed by the Congress party stole the show . It said "@SushmaSwarajbjp Pyre of many Victims of this Natural Calamity still warm. First BJP tried to take credit of evacuating 15000 in a day! 1/2 Instead of helping in relief works in U'khand, don't try to use this calamity as a Political Opportunity! #NoPoliticsOverCalamity." No politics over calamity - a line mouthed by every political party and not followed by any . While Congress chose to play safe with "No politics over calamity" Sushma Swaraj launched an attack on the government "What has your state Government done ? Nothing. The living are starving. The dead are being robbed. And you are patting you. Those who cannot govern in crisis do not deserve to be in the Government even for a day" she tweeted angrily.Though Congress has my hearty sympathies i cannot deny the reason behind Shushma Swaraj's anger . The clip of sadhus robbing dead people uncovers a dangerous state of human emotion . People call it ruthlessness , devilish but has anybody thought what made them perform such an inhuman act ? Sushmaji When the living do not have anything to eat , they will obviously resort to robbery and what better than robbing a dead person . My words might sound harsh but so is the reality . As rescue operations come to an end , the tweeter battle commences .
