The silence between us

The silence between us has silenced me 
dates that had once been special are now just days
the thought of coming closer tingles me
only to be reminded of the decision we made 
of not being together as it is love that brings pain 

Love 

time has passed and so have days 
but that one touch still influences me 
our story might not be as beautiful as harry and sally
nor as painful as romeo and Juliet
but its our story , our surreal love story 

100 days of summer might not have got over 
but the pain of being together yet apart is much greater 
i now hesitate to lie on your shoulders 
to hold your hand and wipe your tears 

how much do i wish to be with you again 
to disappoint the courage that holds me back 
painful it is but i wish to be that one unlucky star
who brightens your life and engulfs all the dark

jitna pakdna chaaho , fisal jaati hai
ban kar hawa , guzar jaati hai

bheji dua bhi thukra di gai
dard ko bhi aansuo ki zubaani samajh aa gai
khushia nahi deti ab dastak dil pe
dhadkano ko bhi ab aadat na rahi mehmano ki

marke bhi teri yaad mein jiyenge
teri baaton ki aahosh mein khud ko samente
teri chaht ki barish mein bahe failae
apna lenge us berehem maut ko bhi bina aansoo bahae

tadpe hai teri yaadon hum shaamo subah
yaad kar un hasi lamhho ko jisne bana dia hume tera gulam
khud ko bazm mein pakar teri
bhula dete hai akelepan ki dukhti khamoshi

agar thamti hai saanso ki dor toh tham jae
par ek dua kaboole voh khuda toh rehem ho jae
dohra ke voh saath guzre pal thama de vaqt ki dor
is kabil ho ki masoos kar sake hum tere saanso ki kharosh

ho jae yeh dua jo kabool
bula lena mujhe ae maut tere shahoor
haste hue khud ko gava denge
kabra ko unki baah samajhkar , khud ko usme lapet lenge

The last meeting | love poem

I still remember the day when i last saw you
the song i crooned in your memory
and played it over just to create a scene
of you and me reviving romeo and Juliet

i have acquired all your silly habits
of putting the pen's cap in my mouth
caring little about the people around
and blinking over things weird and astound

Now that i have lost hope in love
life around me has become more blissful and  covered
but something's still missing from life
the special feeling of being with someone is still desired

I miss the feeling of getting drenched with somebody in rain
of getting distressed when i do not hear from him
but alone that i am , i do not find myself lonely
for he is with me all the time , in my thoughts and my
deed

usi ne tod di milne ki har kasar
ab kare kaise hale-dil-baya
ab kaisi saram ab kaisi haya


aaj ho chuka hai voh kisi aur ka
keh chuka hai un bhooli bisri baato ko alvida
phir bhi use kyun hai yeh dil pukarata
kyun bhala in ansuon ko hasi ke peeche hai chupata
