is leading us into a hole filled with sewage and filth
living beings are dying in quench for others blood
where there is no respect for a girl's dignity and decision
her soul is ripped apart in open and yet there is no disagreement
onlookers sympathize as she is forced to drink poison
the devil laughs as her beauty turns into ashes

Why bother ? Blame her culture , oh ya her dress

Flowers of blood have replaced natural beauties
men now wield message of hatred in their hands

the nation as taken a backseat and so have manners
politicians taunt each other in public
making fool of themselves and their parties
democracy has become a game of sanctity
who play on the name of caste and religion
they do not mind spilling blood in their thirst for victory
or spending public's hard earned money for digging gold
transition from being the backbone to a dirty game
politics has now reached a stage where the ploy is all about gain
poverty still has a women's face
struggling to keep alive and feed their younger ones
young mothers forced to sell their future as hunger calls them
wailing babies stare at their helpless mother
searching for the stinky and sweaty tassel
which once provided them with sense of relief and protection
mistaking gun for the lighter , they start blowing it
only to realize that the lighter can burn people's lives
but its too late , they now enjoy blowing it
and cater for the blood it generates
