Mission religion !

What is faith to us ? Often  we misuse the word faith for trust , underestimating its true essence . Religion is another term based on faith but are we really faithful towards our religion ? If yes , then how does religion define faith ?
Religion is no longer pure and sacred . It is adulterated with stains of Politics. Countries like Pakistan , Iran and Syria which were founded on faith have lost their sheen and credibility . I am not blaming any particular religion for their failure and distortion . Politicians who were once leaders mistook faith as a means to achieve their goals . Therefore religion based on faith has changed our outlook towards society . Thanks to religion based politics , India might eventually be one of the above mentioned countries .
Religion has always ruled the world , either in the form of idol or belief . As Radhakrishnan points out "The Hindu tradition but its very breadth , seem to be capable of accommodating varied religious conceptions " . The religion , known for its spirituality is losing its credibility , thanks to our "spiritual" politicians who do not mind mouthing religious statements . NDA ally Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Raut said " If we would have projected Narendra Modi as an outright Hindutva leader, we would have perhaps won in Karnataka."  Politicians no longer believe in politically authentic statements , anything which secures vote bank is like a jackpot for them . The fine line between religion and Politics has diminished , leaving no space for faith .
Varun Gandhi's hate speech in the 2009 Lok Sabha elections reveals the ugly reality of Indian Politics . The sting operation by Tehelka exposes the real " Varun Gandhi" . A witness on being asked about Varun's Gandhi's hate speech admitted that Varun Gandhi had indeed spoken against Muslims and his words were something like this " 3-3 Muslim MLA's have been appointed  from one district , now will you make Pakistan here ? , If i become an MP and if any Muslim tries to commit any atrocity , we will cut their heads" . Muslims constitute 18% of the total population  , Varun Gandhi words are like venom which has  not just undermined the democracy but has also insulted the unity and the integrity of India .
'Secular Hindus' , a name given to those who do not differentiate people on the name of religion says it all . The religious fanatics blame them for the current situation of Hindus and say that Hindusim will perish from this earth because of their secular behavior . 'Mission Musalmano ka khatma ' reveals the entire truth about our present society . Who is to blame for the current scenario - God or the society ? We human beings haven't just divided ourselves on the name of caste and religion but also God .  We fight on the name of that divine figure who created us and gave us life .
Religion is slowly taking us towards atheism . In this process , we have started fearing God instead of loving him , offering  him all kinds of prayer with no affection but when it goes in vain we are bound to fall shallow . We still have the fear instilled in us but the fear is not big enough to win over our ego . Sticking photos and stickers of God on the glasses with no regard for them is nothing but atheism . I would rather use the word 'semi-atheist' as  it fits into the picture very well . Religion or no religion , it is a personal choice  . What hurts is the sad state of faith based religion . It is no longer existent . Every other individual uses it as a tool  to gain or lose something . It is more or less like a barter system , you give me this and i will pay you in return ( the payment can be of any kind) . We might be a semi-atheist yet we will hesitate to vote for a person belonging to  different religion or caste . The day isn't far when there wouldn't be religion but only semi-atheism .

Narendra modi - The second Iron Man of India

I am back to square one , I thought i was done with Narendra Modi and his stereotypical homour but i was wrong . I was on my way of writing an article on Politics and the only person who came into my mind was Narendra Modi . I wonder if i am hallucinating again .

Now that i do not have the privilege to choose any other politician , i resume my journey - saga of 'the second Iron man of India'  . While Iron Man 3's verdict is yet to be rendered, Narendra Modi is sure to declare himself the only superhero of India  . This superhero of ours might not wear an iron suit or have blue eyes but is sure to consist of powers much mightier then our vilaiti superheroes , Ra One of course doesn't stand a chance . Robert Downey Jr. , after the release of his movie Iron Man 3 might be enjoying a divine holiday but that's not the same case with our hero . The word 'holiday' has been omitted from his dictionary lest Bharath's yuvraj might become the only yuvraj of India .

Deemed as a lion , a messiah , his speech constitutes all the crispy components of a real political script ranging from business activities to ladies charisma , this man has truly acquired the skills of Antony ( remember Julius Ceaser) .  Kalavati acquired a special place in his speech , he used her as an arrow to wound its rightful owner while Jassuben served as his royal bow . His ascension would mean defeat of the Congress and most importantly of Mr. Golden Spoon , a name given to Rahul Gandhi by Mr. Narendra Modi . Modest as he is by nature , he denies any usage of strategy for wooing voters . His speech at FICCI was meant to make female voters aware of Congress's agenda and as predicted he managed to win their trust .

Now that everybody's eyes are on Karnataka elections , neither the Congress nor the BJP is leaving any stone unturned to woo the voters lest the acne on the ruling party BJP's head turns into a scar . Karnataka can be accurately be termed as a real jackpot for both the parties for it persisted Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh to speak . His words are still ringing in my head - Corruption , Communal harmony ... .

Modi claims to be a clean and efficient leader , often trumping about Gujrat's development which actually has become a thing of past , come up with something new sir . I have heard a lot about Gujrat from its brand ambassador Mr. Amitabh Bachhan who always requests me to visit Gujrat  once , through advertisement of course .

Modi has done whatever he could to garner crowd and retain BJP's rule in Karnataka . He accused Prime minister of being under 'a siege' and thus silent . He referred to Rahul Gandhi as Mr. Golden spoon and even reminded him of his father Rajiv Gandhi's public statement that every single rupee becomes 15 paise by the time it reaches villages . He questioned the Congress's ability to maintain law and order in the light of attacks on women in various parts of India especially New Delhi . China's intrusion and Sarabjit's death has made things worse for Congress . Only time will decide the fate of two major parties of India - The Congress and The BJP .
